About this platform

This platform is a free community tool that helps players organise beach volleyball sessions. It is an independent, community-run platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, operated by, or officially connected to any venue, venue owner, court provider, sports club, local authority, business, or event organiser unless explicitly stated in writing.

Venue names may be used only to describe where a user-created session is intended to take place. Posting a session on the platform does not book a court, reserve a venue, guarantee court availability, or create any arrangement with a venue or operator. Session organisers are responsible for making any court bookings separately where required, and players should check session details before attending.

The platform is provided as is and may contain bugs, interruptions, or errors.

Accounts and sign-in

This platform uses passwordless sign-in. You can sign in using supported providers such as Google or Apple, or by receiving a one-time email code or magic link. The platform does not ask you to create a password and does not store user passwords.

You are responsible for keeping your email account or sign-in provider account secure. If someone gains access to your sign-in provider account, they may be able to access your account on this platform.

You can sign out or request account deletion at any time from your profile.

Your responsibility as a user

Users are responsible for their own safety, attendance, travel, belongings, and decision to participate in any session.

The platform helps people organise games, but it does not supervise sessions, verify every user, confirm identities, guarantee player ability, guarantee attendance, guarantee behaviour, or guarantee that a session is safe or suitable.

You should take sensible precautions when meeting or playing with people you do not know. This may include checking session details before attending, confirming whether a court has actually been booked, letting someone know where you are going, meeting in public places, not sharing unnecessary personal information, and leaving if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

If you are unsure about a session, contact the organiser or do not attend.

Contact details

Users may optionally choose to share their mobile number with the organiser of a specific session.

If a player shares their mobile number with you as a session organiser, you must only use it for session logistics, such as confirming details, notifying them of changes, weather updates, court changes, cancellations, or running late.

You must not use shared contact details for unrelated messages, marketing, harassment, personal contact, or sharing with anyone else.

Community rules

By using this platform, you agree to follow the Community Guidelines. Accounts that repeatedly break these rules may be restricted or removed.

Limitations

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform owner is not responsible for whether a session goes ahead, whether players attend, whether a court is available, the accuracy of user-posted session details, the behaviour of users outside the platform, injuries, losses, travel issues, disputes arising from participation in sessions, bugs, outages, missed messages, or platform interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so.

The platform is not an emergency communication system. Organisers should use appropriate backup communication for urgent or last-minute changes.

A free community tool

This platform is free to use. It was built as a community tool, not as a paid service. The goal is simply to make it easier for people to organise and play more beach volleyball.

I intend to keep the platform free for as long as I can reasonably afford to run it. If the running costs grow in the future, I may need to add a small amount of non-intrusive advertising or another light-touch way of covering costs. If that ever happens, the aim would be to keep it minimal, transparent, and respectful of the community.

Changes

These terms may change over time as the platform evolves. Continuing to use the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
